Little Corsican Bistro – Fully furnished version!

I present to you, my recreation of the Little Corsican Bistro (Fully furnished by me) from The Sims 3, in Sunset Valley. I fully furnished on all three floors. The first floor is a waiting area and some seating. The second floor has two bathrooms, and the kitchen. The third floor has a bar and more seating for diners. The inside design is just my interpretation since, as a rabbit hole, it does not have an interior in TS3. Feel free to download my empty version HERE and give it your own interior if you would like. It may be a bit heavy on some computers since it has so many items on such a large lot. It is completely CC FREE.

Interior pictures under the cut.

Make sure you use caution and Clean Installer when putting this in your game.

i love sunset valley, there is a house with a river i’m obsessed with . has someone made houses from sv too? ill love to know 🖤

Yes! I have made all of them. Look HERE for all the residential lots. 🙂

Also is THIS the lot you’re looking for?

Hi! I love your work :) it is quite weird because it seems that I enjoy lots from Sunset Valley (ts2 version) very much although I was never really impressed by what I saw during playing TS3. There are two questions I want to ask: 1. Are you going to make any beach lot? (With access to the sea) 2. Are you going to post the whole neighbourhood as a folder (it would be helpful since none of us would have to download all the lots separately and put them manually in the ‘hood) Cheers, X

Hi there, thank you I appreciate it. 🙂 I feel the same way, where I found them pretty unimpressive in TS3, but then again TS2 has always been my game.

So for the first, I had initially planned to make some beach lots, but unfortunately the terrain isn’t close enough to fit any proper beach lots that I’ve seen, and I don’t know how to edit that, so I sadly no.

As for the second, I do definitely plan on posting the neighborhood for download. I’m almost done with all the lots, and I’ll make a post for the download as soon as it’s ready. 🙂

Hey Danielle, in this post /post/174612727475/im-just-12-lots-from-being-done-with-building-in you mentioned giving Sunset Valley a new neighborhood picture? Can you tell me how you do that? Whenever I download a neighborhood or make one myself I get this ugly green grid picture. Btw, thank you for re-making Sunset Valley! I’ve downloaded so many of your lots! My sims already enjoy the central park!

Thank you so much, I’m happy you like it. 🙂 And sure thing.

So in your Sims 2 folder in Documents (It will be something like Documents/EA Games/The Sims 2/Neighborhoods or Documents/EA Games/The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection/Neighborhoods if you have Ultimate Collection) And go into the folder (NXXX the number will vary depending on the neighborhood) for the neighborhood you want to give a new icon.

image

In the folder you should see 4 folders labeled Characters/Lots/Storytelling/Thumbnails, a bkp file, a package file, and a png named NXXX_Neighborhood.png

What I did was opened NXXX_Neighborhood.png in Paint (or whatever image program you prefer). The image will be 600×450 px in size.

If you go into the Options menu in game, under Camera Options, make sure your Snapshot size is set to ‘Large’ and Quality is set to ‘High’. This makes your Snapshots 600×450 px.

Then I took a snapshot in my game using the ‘C’ key. I found that snapshot in my Documents/EA Games/The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection/Storytelling folder and opened it in Paint as well.

image

On that snapshot in Paint I used Ctrl-A to select all, then Ctrl-C to copy. I switched to the NXXX_Neighborhood.png in Paint and used Ctrl-V to paste the new image over it. Then I saved it and now my NXXX_Neighborhood.png is the image I want for the icon.

It should show up once you reopen your game. I hope this helps. 🙂

(Just in case here’s a link to another tutorial in case I explained it weirdly.)

You are my hero. I wanted to do something like this AGES ago, but never had the time or motivation to do it. Sunset Valley has always been my fave TS3 world, so this project means a lot to me. Thank you so, so much for deciding to share your creations for it with us!!

That’s so kind. 🙂 I’m really glad you like it. Honestly it’s the first thing in a long time that I’ve had this much passion for. I always appreciate your likes and responses. 🙂
