Sunset Valley: A 3T2 Neighborhood Recreation

🌄🌳🌴🎣🎸️🏡🚸⛱️⛵🌅

Before Pleasantview, there was Sunset Valley. Founded by the Goth family, and built up by the Landgraabs to be a quiet, peaceful town. But when the Altos arrive with uptown ideals, will the townsfolk feel the need to choose sides?

Here it is (✨conveniently for my 1,000th post yay✨) my 3T2 recreation of Sunset Valley, the base game neighborhood from The Sims 3. It is a fully populated CC FREE neighborhood (on this wonderful terrain by Voleste) featuring the lots and Sims you know and love (or don’t) from the Sims 3. It was made with all EPs and SPs and checked with Hoodchecker. I’ve been working on this for about 5 months now and I’m so very excited to finally share it. I’ll try to keep it brief and bore you with all the long details below the cut. (Warning: it gets quite long)

💕 Special thanks to @drewinthesky, @jawusa, and @katatty for play-testing, giving me advice, and being all around wonderful human beings, as well as everyone who has been kind and encouraging throughout this project. 💕

I made this for my own use and thought I’d offer it up for anyone who wants it. It’s so I can keep track of which households I’ve played in which season and whatnot. The first page is each household, the neighborhood they live in/come with, and spots for ten years worth of Sims seasons(Fall, Winter, Spring, Summer). The second page has each household, the neighborhood they live in, and all of the members of each household, plus spots for their sex, age, aspiration, secondary aspiration, and career. Feel free to do whatever you would like with this if it’s of use to you. 🙂 It has Pleasantview, Strangetown, Veronaville, Bluewater Village, Belladonna Cove, Riverblosson Hills, and Desiderata Valley. I’m adding Widespot and Europa to my personal one.

MoogleSims’ Skeleton Letterman with Freezer Bunny’s Robot Arm

I’ve gotten pretty interested in learning about meshing and swapping parts of clothing lately so I have another to share. This is MoogleSims’ Skeleton Letterman Jacket with Freezer Bunny’s robot arm for AF. It has a fat morph but no preg morph, and is enabled for everyday, athletic, and outerwear. Sometimes there’s a tiny gap where the wrist meets the sleeve. Enjoy 🙂

Pump You Up Gym

The gym is just the place to make up for your junk food and energy drink diet.

Here I’ve recreated a Community Lot from the Sims 3 University Life. It’s a gym. It was built on a 5×5 lot with all EPs and Sps installed. My ceilings tend to look wonky in my game. I also made some adjustments to accommodate the basement, by adding a foundation and steps to the building.

It uses some CC you can find here:

Enjoy!

The Grotto

You don’t have to be a Rebel to enjoy the Grotto. It’s just a cool place to hang out.

Problem with walkbys

So I’ve noticed in my Uberhood that uses Strangetown as a main hood, the only visitors I seem to get on community lots are all from Strangetown and none of the Subhoods. I’ve searched around and kinda looked into the all walkbys mod, but it doesn’t seem quite like what I’m looking for. Has anyone else had this issue?

yuka-sims:

Welcome to Fontaine!

“Ah, the 1980s – the era of synthesizers, big hair, shoulder pads, and neon lights. The beginning of autumn in 1985 brings more changes to the small town of Fontaine than just orange and yellow leaves. The town is abuzz with the arrival of new faces, the return of old friends, the smell of crisp air, and a feeling of endless possibility. It almost seems like the picturesque mountains themselves are holding their breath, waiting to see how the residents’ lives play out…”

After several months, @crispsandkerosene and I are ready to release a joint custom neighborhood for the Sims 2! (The original idea was mine though)
